Coffee Date Night with Bae

There are some simple pleasures in life that I enjoy. Coffee is one of them and a good lipgloss. Today I can have both of them together while we go for a date with bae! Sacha Cosmetics has blown me away with their new intense lipshine glosses and awesome names. I love when companies try to just be real with their customers even in these small details.

You're So Fine with Fine Soaps

Let's soap up again with some Fine Soaps. I only recently discovered this line of soaps at the Shops of Normadie and after looking into the brand they have been around for a while. Let's review how well they worked for me. All products reviewed below are from their Premium Blends line which are made with 100% natural ingredients and are hand crafted. In addition, they contain no colourants, fillers or animal fats.

Sweet Tooth: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 14)

Something sweet to stop my sweet tooth cravings is candy. Candy strips is my choice for today's nail art challenge. A steady hand is needed to free style these lines with acrylic paints but it's well worth it :)

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.

B&W Chevron: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 12)

Hola! I'm just running a bit late with my posts by these nails were done a while ago. I've never done much chevron inspired nails before but this blue and pink combo was indeed inspiring. With the use of some nail guides I was able to create these with a breeze.

Musical Skittlette: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 11)

Skittles anyone? Gosh, they are one of my favourite sweets and I get them almost every time I am at the movies. Today's nail art design is called the Skittlette however, which has two accent nails in the middle highlighting the new phase in my life; music with my love for the colour pink.

M is for Money: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 10)

M is for the Money! Yes, who doesn't love those bills. Money makes the world go around. While we shouldn't make it our only aim in life, it does make things easier for everyone. Today's challenge uses a lot of greens and golds to bring this design to life.

Nude Glam: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 9)

I'm a person who loves colour but sometimes we just need to be a bit plain and go for nudes but that doesn't mean it should be boring. Today's design is glamming up the nudes for that elegant touch yet a nail art design that can be worn everyday.

A Pond Manicure: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 8)

Well a pond manicure is not really this but a specific technique but I'm taking today's challenge literally and replicating the colours and bits of what are actually within ponds for my nail art version.

80's Retro Moses Mash Inspired: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 7)

You want some colour today? Here we go! I fell in love with the colourful and retro design by the talented Robin Moses and so decided to use this design for my inspired nail art. It's simple yet fun and can be done using just a small nail art brush and dotting tool. Easy as pie!

Grey & Pink Combo :BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 6)

Welcome back everyone! I've been sick and so went off the time frame of this challenge but I'm all better now and so ready to makeup for the lost time and nailart :). So we start off with the challenge to do a grey nailart but instead of just using this colour on its own, I'm pairing it with a complimentary colour and my personal favourite colour, pink.

Being Loved: BDC Nail Art Challenge (Day 5)

Welcome back beautiful! I'm a bit late with last week's nail art challenge since I was out sick. I don't get sick often. Actually it has been a few years well since I've been sick. But in this time although my body was weak, I felt great strength and love from my friends and family. So what a fitting way to complete this nail challenge than to show the true love I experienced.

Mosaic Madness: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 4)

Hello beautiful! Today's BCD nail art challenge takes a look at a mosaic design which looks so beautiful in tile work. This freehand design is quite easy to accomplish with complementary colours and a white outlining border to each "piece".

Funky French: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 3)

French tip nails are simple, just elegant and classy when done with the white tips. I've been a long time fan of French tips. Today's design and nail art challenge puts a twist into this classic by using gold and with a diagonal twist.

CuteNails Swirls: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 2)

I have been in love with CuteNails and how amazingly talented she is! I've been watching a ton of her YouTube videos and fell in love with how simple yet stunning this design of hers was so I just had to replicate for myself. I'm my eyes she is a celebrity nail artist and so perfect for my celebrity style nail challenge in Day 2 of the #BCDnails

Pinky Rose Tie Dye: A BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 1)

Welcome to the BCD Nail Art Challenge. First up we have the oldie but goodie; the tie dye. I am using a non- traditional method to achieving today's look and challenge.

The BCD Nail Art Challenge

I have wonderful news for you all. This year I am embarking on a nail art challenge designed by myself with my two other nail art buddies; DrinkCitra and CosmeticProof . We had this art challenge in the works for sometime as we were navigating the challenges of life but this year we are determined to get through it together.

Lathering Up with Eco-Truffles Bath & Body

Today I'm presenting another wonderful local company with products made in Trinidad with love. I saw a few of their ads on Facebook but meeting them one on one at the Eastern Market was indeed a pleasure and the start of my journey with their amazing products.

Enjoying More Scent-sations

Good-day beautiful! Today we have the part two review of the Bath Scent-sation basket and the last 4 items. I thoroughly enjoyed the first 4 and these did not disappoint.

The Eastern Market Experience

Our Trinidad and Tobago people are extremely talented. We find ourselves all over the world accomplishing so many great things but while we tend to notice those folks making it big outside of our country, there are local entrepreneurs right in our homeland just waiting to be discovered for their amazing talents. This was indeed my experience at the Eastern Market.

Happy New Year 2016

Happy New Year 2016! Here's to you; wishing you a wonderful new year filled with goodness, health and prosperity for yourself and your loved ones. I want to share some of my blog and personal plans for the new year as somewhat of a basic checklist of what I want to (and will) achieve in 2016.
