Californails #NailArtMar Day 8: Candy Crush-ing

I'm hooked on Candy Crush and stuck on level 165 at the moment. So today's nail art design is in tribute to one of my favorite games and sticks to the theme of Candies for today Californails #nailartmar challenge.

1. For the purple striped candy I used China Glaze Creative Fantasy with white acrylic paint lines.
2. For the candy crush game board I used China Glaze Elephant walk for the base colors with soft black acrylic paint lines. Then I added the individual candies for the board using acrylic paints.
3. For the blue striped candy I used China Glaze Frostbite with white acrylic paint lines.
4. For the brown candy bomb I used Sacha Cosmetics Forbidden Fudge as a base color and a small dotting tool from Winstonia to add the colourful acrylic paints dots.
5. All sealed in with my favorite top coat, Seche Vite.

Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
