Rainbow Dots Nail Art

How many times have I been inspired by Robin Moses? Too many times to count. She is my nail art guru and I watch her videos every week as she takes all kinds of objects for sources of inspiration. Today's design is a simple one I saw her do using a light blue base but I did a twist on her's using my favorite color; pink.

Nail Tutorial:
1. Paint your nails two coats of Sacha Cosmetics Fall in Love nail polish and allow to dry fully.
2. Using acrylic paint for the colors of the rainbow, ROYGBIV and a small and medium dotting tool, go ahead and add both size dots randomly across the nail from one color to another.
3. Overlap the shades to add dimension to your dot rainbow.
4. Once dry, seal in with your favorite top coat.

I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
