It's a Jord Wooden World!

Good-day gorgeous! I'm super thrilled to be able to showcase the modern look of the line of wooden watches by Jord. I was in awe of the packaging being sleek in the outer box but even more so on the inside with the watch gently cradled in the box with a soft pillow in the middle.

Spring Flower Garden (Stamped)

I'm really hooked on nail stamping since it's such a quick way to dress up a plain old polish. Today's design was the first one done using my Konad polishes and plates with a spring inspired design.

Easter Chicks Nail Art

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you are enjoying this Good Friday with your family and friends. It's so good to know the story of Easter; of Christ's death and resurrection to save our souls. It's such a wonderful story of redemption!!!! Today I'm celebrating with the cute side of Easter, the hatching chicks and colorful eggs.

Chocolate Bar Foil Tips

Let's have a little bling on our tips today? The use of gold foil can take a regular french tip into a more modern look with added shine. The combine colors of dark brown with the textured gold reminds me of a yummy chocolate bar peaking out its wrapper.

Tiger Striped Out Nail Art

Roar! Hear me roar today with a quick and easy nail art design that is sure to bring out your big kitty diva.

SammyDress Sweet Spring Floral Fashion Fever

Welcome beautiful! I'm super excited to present to you my second fashion fever post and even more excited to introduce you to SammyDress; an online store with a huge selection of clothing for women, men and even kids; not to mention the accessories like watches, bags and jewelry to complement your outfit in style with the added bonus of ridiculously affordable prices. Let's take a look at this Spring Print Dress.

Flower Love Sticker Nail Design

I've been quite the busy girl lately but will not go anywhere with naked nails. So it was quite a welcomed opportunity to try out these 3D nail stickers from KKCenterHK. These cute flower stickers are easy to apply and in a few seconds flat dresses up a plain old polish.

Grape Goodness (Stamped)

I am delving more and more into the world of stamped nail art since it is quicker than handpainted nail art for the modern day busy girl. My first attempts at stamping were quite horrible but with some practice I was able to get some pretty decent looks. Here is one of them.

Californails #NailArtMar Day 31: Drips

Wow, this sun is scorching hot today and all I can think about is some ice-cream and the beach. Today rounds up the last day in the #NailArtMar 2014 Californails challenge and we end off with drips. So I'm thinking about ice cream again :)

Californails #NailArtMar Day 28: Soft Watercolor

The sun is shining brilliantly and there is nothing more inspiring that watching all the activity in nature. Today's design is inspired by gorgeous colors associated with the springtime; soft pastel blues and periwinkle in a watercolor look.

Californails #NailArtMar Day 25: Imperfect Spots OOTD

I love matching nail art with fashion! Fabric patterns are usually a huge source of inspiration for me. Today's design takes on the print of one of my short dresses which is mainly black with touches of color in almost perfect lines of imperfect spots.

Californails #NailArtMar Day 22: Pastel Gradient

The birds are chirping right outside my window! What a bright and sunny Saturday morning it is! I'm in the mood to head to the beach but before that here are some simple almost gradient pastel nails that are perfect for the Springtime.

Californails #NailArtMar Day 20: Fresh Daisies (with pictorial)

How about a floral print today? Besides animal prints (meow pussy cat), I adore any nail art design with flowers! Daisies are pretty simple flowers, most times they are white with yellow centers and they reflect sunshine and happiness for springtime.

Californails #NailArtMar Day 17: Rainbow Luck

Happy St. Paddy's Day! I wish you all the luck of the Irish! I'm doing a simple chevron rainbow for you to follow to find your pot of gold :)

Californails #NailArtMar Day 11: Multi-Neon Brushstrokes

While the rest of the world is waiting for some sunshine and spring to happen, I'm all sunshine over here in the Caribbean. We wear bright colors all year round and I have a fondness for neon brights. Today's nail art challenge called for neons but instead of doing it for retina searing goodness I have toned it down with a black base.

Californails #NailArtMar Day 8: Candy Crush-ing

I'm hooked on Candy Crush and stuck on level 165 at the moment. So today's nail art design is in tribute to one of my favorite games and sticks to the theme of Candies for today Californails #nailartmar challenge.

Californails #NailArtMar Day 4: Vintage Purple Ombre

Purple is one of my favorite colors especially in nail polishes. Today's design takes inspiration from vintage flowers wrapped up in a lilac/ purple ombre background. Gradient nails are not to be confused for Ombre nails. Gradient is more of a design where one color transitions into another color or more while ombre is from light to dark. I guess in some ways you can have an integration of both.

Californails #NailArtMar Day 1: Peachy Flower Dotticure

Hello beautiful! I'm back again with another Californails nail art monthly challenge since I thoroughly enjoyed the one I complete for January. Since I've already done a gradient dotticure and rainbow dotticure I'm doing a flower dotticure to complete today's challenge.

Pink Micro Leopard Print Nail Art

I can finally say I feel totally confident now with nail stamping and this was all due to watching tons of nail stamping videos and trials to find polishes within my own stash that worked well as stamping polishes. One of the main tips I picked up was that the polish needs to be a thicker viscosity. Another tip is that if it is opaque in one coat it maybe perfect for stamping since after all the images for stamps are just thin layers of polish. So here's my first big success with stamping :)

Blue Brush Stroke Nail Art

Hello beautiful! I've been thoroughly enjoying my birthday month with lots of activities from beach outings to barbeques and movie dates. So I'm back today with some simple nail art perfect for you DIY'ers that are not ambidextrous. The brush stroke technique is quite simple and can achieve numerous looks just by changing the colors used.

Pink Silk Abstract Nail Art

I have a love for abstract art and today's nail art uses stripes and dots in a somewhat funky french tip design.

Rainbow Dots Nail Art

How many times have I been inspired by Robin Moses? Too many times to count. She is my nail art guru and I watch her videos every week as she takes all kinds of objects for sources of inspiration. Today's design is a simple one I saw her do using a light blue base but I did a twist on her's using my favorite color; pink.

B&W Checkers: Mara Hoffman NYFW Inspired Nail Art

I feel head over heels in love with this gorgeous graphic, mainly black and white print with a pop of color design from Mara Hoffman Fall 2014 collection as seen for NYFW. I thought it was impossible to ever get this look represented in my nail art until of course I simply got down to work. Lo and behold I found an easy way to replicate the pattern in nail art using simple brush strokes.

NYFW Peter Som Fall 2014 Inspired Nail Art: Graphic Orange

I love taking inspiration from fashion to incorporate into my nail art. Last time I was also inspired by Peter Som and for this new season I am again in love with an orange design of his. This look is more interpretive and graphic from my regular designs.

BusyGirlNails Winter Nail Art Challenge Week 5: Valentine's Bear

So we have come to the end of another Busy Girl Nails challenge and today's post is sweet and in time for this week of Valentines! It is also my Birthday week so I'm having lots of sweet things :)

BusyGirlNails Winter Nail Art Challenge Week 4: I'm So Blue

Blue, oh so lonesome without you! Is that a song? Probably is! I'm very Blue today but not in a sad way. This easy nail art design is very cheery and can brighten up your day! All you would need is a bright blue base color and contrasting blue accent colors for the stripes with a pop of glitter.

BusyGirlNails Winter Nail Art Challenge Week 3: Glitter Heart

I've literally been quite the Busy Girl this week and I can finally get my Glitter challenge done for week 3 of the BusyGirlNails winter challenge. What says "I love you" more than glitter, well to a nail lover anyway :)

Californails January Nail Art Challenge 2014: Silver Valentine

It's the finale of this Californails January nail art challenge and I feel super accomplished that I was able to finish it all! One challenge done for this year already and it's still 11 more months to go! Silver is a color I don't use very often in my nail designs so this was indeed a challenge for me. I also had a string of bad luck with stamping lately so I decided to give it a go again. Combining silver, stamping, and something sweet I now present to you my Silver Valentine.

Californails January Nail Art Challenge 2014: Valentine's Stripes

Oh Valentine's Day is right around the corner and I'm celebrating this year with red, pink and white with a dash of hearts in my nail art design. I recreated my Teal Stripe gradient nails for this fun and girly version.

Californails January Nail Art Challenge 2014: Denim Jean OOTD inspired with tutorial

What are you wearing today? Give me a chance and I will wear jeans or denim everyday! But I usually reserve it for Casual Fridays and Slouchy Saturdays :) Today's nail art post gives you a design inspired by my newest pair of dark denim jeans with a bonus of my tutorial to achieve the look yourself.

BusyGirlNails Winter Nail Art Challenge Week 2: White Polkadot Tips

My nail art idol has to be Robin Moses! I love her designs which range from super easy to extremely intricate. This design was inspired by one of her recent nail art called Black and White Daisies. I plan to recreate the original soon but for now these are some easy chevron tips for week 2 of this winter challenge.

Californails January Nail Art Challenge 2014: Studs

A short and sweet post for you today. It's a candy inspired design using stripes and studs for this, my latest in the Californails nailartjan challenge.

Californails January Nail Art Challenge 2014: Swirly Sweets

Oh I have a bad sweet tooth. I eat everything from chocolates and candy to cakes and cookies. The best part about it is that they don't add a lot of weight to the waistline (just yet). For today's nail art design I am taking inspiration from candy and those awesome swirls found in peppermints and other hard sweets as well as those huge lollipops.

Californails Nail Art January Challenge 2014: Teal Dot Gradient

Welcome my little beauty bees! I've really been enjoying this monthly challenge from Californails for January 2014 and today's post takes on a favorite nail art category for me: the gradient. Since I've already done a sponge gradient in my Las Vegas nails and a stripe gradient in my Teal Striper nails I decided to do a simple dot gradient to round out my gradient nails done already for this challenge.

Californails January Nail Art Challenge 2014: Green Green Grass

Today's theme is Nature and my interpretation of this is the color green that can be found in the trees and grasses, flowers and forest. I'm using one of my favorite green nail polish colors: China Glaze Def Defying which is a gorgeous yellow green, that is bright and vibrant reflecting to me how life is in nature.

Californails January Nail Art Challenge 2014: Pastel Blue Flowers

Pastel blue was apparently a color I didn't really have in my ever growing polish collection. I tend to like darker shades of blue and turquoise. So that gave me an excuse to go polish shopping just to get me a bottle of pastel blue :)

Californails January Nail Art Challenge: Criss Cross Pattern

A super quick and blue post today to show off my third design in the Californails NailArtJan challenge. Today's inspiration is from a pattern and I've been really practicing drawing straight lines so I've done a criss cross pattern focused on the tips with a pink diamond for some interest.

Californails January Nail Art Challenge 2014: Las Vegas Sparkles

What sparkles more than the lights of Las Vegas? Well I could probably add a few things but let's just stick with this for now :) You all should know by now how I love gradient nails and I usually do it with polishes and makeup sponges. Earlier this week I did gradient nails using striper brush strokes and today I will be attempting a new way of achieving gradient nails using loose glitter. My muse is NYX Glitter to Go in Las Vegas.

Easy Nail Art designs using Striper Brushes

So let's get 2014 started with not one, not two but twelve new nail art designs all created with striper brushes. For the base colors and art I am using a mixture of nail polishes and acrylic paints.

Californails January Nail Art Challenge 2014: Fresh Ocean Breeze

Hey everyone! So one of my new year's resolutions is to do more nail art and more nail tutorials so you guys can join in with me. Here is one for January 2014 hosted by the talented Californails. Today's design was with the theme FRESH so I created my design with what came to mind as fresh, the ocean breeze and this is my interpretation of that. It's basically a teal to white stripe gradient.

New Year 2014 Nail Art

Happy New Years my beloved bees! I'm so glad you have joined me for the start of the new year with more wonderful nail art, beauty reviews and makeup looks to share with you. Here the simple yet stunning nail design that was with me when the clock struck midnight into 2014!
