Falling Snow Nail Art

It's fast coming to Christmas time and when in a hurry, sometimes your nails are the last to get done. Here is a quick and easy yet fun and festive nail design for that Christmas flair.

Get the look:
1. Start off with two coats of L.A Girl Color Pop in Entice. Allow to dry fully.

2. Using white acrylic paint, apply to the tips of the nail bed in a random fashion to depict snow on the ground

3. Using the same white acrylic paint, apply dots of varying sizes onto the red base to depict falling snow.

4. For a Christmas sparkle, apply L.A. Girl Splatter nail polish in Sparkle to add white and gold glitter pieces.

5. Seal in with a top coat! Voila!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off. Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
