Star of David: Hanukkah Nail Art

Happy Hanukkah! Israel is a Holy Land. The symbolic colors of white and blue are noted in their flag along with the Star of David or Shield of David. The Jewish prayer book, Siddur uses the term Shield of David as a title of the God of Israel.
Today's nail art is simple but incorporates these elements in the design!

For this design I used:
  • Nude base color: OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons
  • Cobalt blue french tips and handpainted Star of David: L.A. Colors art deco in Sapphire
  • Top coat: Seche Vite
  • Blue stars

 Happy Hanukkah!

The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
