Fall Leaves Nail Art

Falling leaves are everywhere! Well not in this part of the world but my family and friends living in colder regions have me envious of the colorful falling leaves and brightly colored trees in their recent pictures! So I thought why not recreate them on what else but my own little world of ten small nails.

For this design I used
  • A neutral base color: OPI Dont Pretzel My Buttons
  • Mint green base color for the accent nails: Borghese Menta
  • Assortment of orange, light green, dark green, brown, mustard acrylic paints
  • Top coat: Seche Vite
And that's it! See you right here for more inspired nail art!

The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
