Busy Girl Nails Fall 2013 Challenge Week 2: Pink Lattice Roses

Wow, another week has flown by so quickly and so I'm here again with week 2 of my Fall 2013 challenge hosted by Busy Girl Nails. Pink is my second favorite nail color next to purple and Orly La Vida Loca is such a classic color; a vibrant bright pink that is sure to brighten up your day.

To get this look:
1. Apply two coats of Orly La Vida Loca. Allow to dry fully.
2. Using Winstonia plate W110 and the bamboo lattice pattern design, stamp on a golden green color like China Glaze Agro
3. Using a small detailing brush and Orly Smolder dab draw some small circles to represent the sizes of your roses.
4. Handpaint in the details of the rose using Orly La Vida Loca.
5. Add a touch of glitter to the roses.
6. Seal in your design with a fast drying top coat.

Join in on this fall nail challenge by posting your nail designs on instagram or on your blog using the hashtag #BusyGirlNails and tagging the girls hosting this challenge: @drinkcitra, @BeautyByArielle, @fiercemakeupandnails, @mirandasmakeup and @marijonails :)

Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
