Neon Stripes Nail art

I'm happily making my way to using all the new brands of nail polish from my recent vacation haul in Canada. Today these two brands: Pure Ice and It's So Easy are making their blog debut in one manicure featuring neon stripes.

Colors in this look:
  • Pure Ice Shell Pink, this brand can be found at Walmart. This formula was a bit thin but build-able enough to give opaque coverage in 3 coats.
  • It's So Easy Stripe Rite in blue and pink, found at Sally Beauty Supplies. One stripe each of both colors was enough to create my design. The brushes are the right length for creating easy stripes.

To complete the look I simply added a few blue rhinestones at the junctions of the criss cross patterns. This is a very easy design that is sure to give you a neon pop! Stripe out!

Coffee Date Night with Bae

There are some simple pleasures in life that I enjoy. Coffee is one of them and a good lipgloss. Today I can have both of them together while we go for a date with bae! Sacha Cosmetics has blown me away with their new intense lipshine glosses and awesome names. I love when companies try to just be real with their customers even in these small details.

Hot Milk Sponge Cake with Fresh Fruit & Coconut

In today's yummy post we are doing an easy sponge cake (no creaming of butter and sugar involved). Instead of torting this cake we are using two loaf pans to give us our two layers, which we will pull together with vanilla buttercream. I love the rectangular look of this cake rather than the traditional round or square but more importantly the flavors of the toasted coconut on the sides and fresh fruit on top makes for a mouth watering dessert.

Wilton Royal Icing Recipe & Tip 21

Welcome back everyone! Today I'm sharing my replication of the Wilton method to making Royal Icing and some simple decorations you can make with the Wilton tip 21. This is an open star tip and can be paired with a simple leaf tip like a Wilton 352 to make small drop flowers.
