Pink Hearts Nail Art

Hello beautiful! Well it's week 7 of the Busy Girl Nails summer challenge and today I'm wearing my heart on my nails. I was inspired by a youtube video from the earlier days of Cutepolish; this is my recreation of her design :)

Nail Art Tutorial:
  1. Apply 2 coats of OPI Pink Friday. Allow to dry fully.
  2. Dab on a bright pink like Style Pen Pink Flamingo on every finger but in different positions.
  3. Repeat step 2 but using China glaze Igniting Love (Red polish)
  4. On each of the red and pink spots created in steps 2 and 3, dab on China Glaze Fairy Dust for a hint of sparkle.
  5. Using a black stripper make freehand, a big heart on each nail. Wait until it is dry then seal your design with a top coat.

Happy One Year Blogoversary!

One year already? OMG! Time really flies when you're having fun . I really enjoyed my one year with you. I've made new friends, improved on my nail and makeup techniques, tried new trends and products, discovered I love nail art (can you tell) and the list goes on. But most importantly I want to thank you all for your support and kind words that kept me going. Honestly there were some times when I was down since I didn't feel my articles and pictures were great but you stuck in with me and for that I say thank you. But I also would like to say thank you and to celebrate this achievement by my first ever giveaway! A Rafflecopter Giveaway

To Russia with Love from a MAC Russian Red Lipglass

Bold red lips at the touch of a lipglass! I remember when I was afraid to wear red lips. I thought it was just so bold and my timid personality preferred to stick with soft pink lips. Well those thoughts have faded with age and now I can face my fears with the beautiful MAC Russian Red lipglass.

Nail Challenge Day 10: Blue Black Gradient Nails

Just when I thought my Rainbow nails were my favourite so far in the challenge, along came the gradient nails and replaced my love in an instant. I couldn't believe how stunning the combination of black and blue would look together. It's a truly simple design that is very popular with the DIY nail polish crowd.
