Summer Neon Popping Nail Art

What goes best with the summer time than the neon brights of nail polish? Today's nail look incorporate bright bold colours that are perfect for the summer time at the beach or on vacation. Do you dare to be bold? :)

The look is very simple to achieve. You will need:
  • A white polish like L.A Colors Energy Source.
  • Neon polishes in colors of your choice: I'm working with pink (Style Pen in Pink Flamingo), yellow (Style Pen in Lime Light), orange (Kleancolor Mandarin Burst), green (Santee Vikini Green). These colors are close to each other on the color wheel.
  • Makeup sponge
  • A top coat

Tutorial:
  1. Apply two coats of your white polish. This will allow your neon colors to pop.
  2. Next using your makeup sponge and your neon colors just random sponge the color onto the white area. Try not to overlap the colors too much but ensure all the white area is covered with a neon color.
  3. Seal with a top coat :)

And if you just want a regular polish with that neon pop, I highly recommend using two coats of Kleancolor Mandarin Burst! It is super bright, we're talking retina searing color!

Happy Summer!

Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
