For the Nail Artist in You

Hello beautiful! Today's post highlights some amazing nail art products from BornPrettyStore. As a nail enthusiast sometimes polish alone is just not enough. Here are some of my favorite products that make my nail art fun!

Dried Flowers: This set comes with 12 pots of dried flowers in different colors and sizes. Try these instead of handpainting on your flowers for a 3D flower look. Place flat onto the nail bed and apply a generous amount of top coat to make the flowers appear to be set into the nail if you are using your natural nails or set within acrylic nails.

Fimo Slices: If you want pre-cut fimo slices, then try some fruity fun with this set that contains 12 different fruit shapes and 10 of each shape for a total of 120 pieces per set. I love the citrus and apple shapes :)

Sweet Candy Bows: These cute bow knots are made of resin and are perfect additions for 3D nail design. Just made sure to fasten tightly onto the nail bed with some nail glue. This set contains 12 sets of two for a total of 24 pieces. Size: 1cm*0.9cm

Water Decals: When your first starting out with nail art, these water decals would be perfect to getting intricate designs on your nails with little effort. My favorite water decals so far is these feathers that come in 11 different designs per sheet and contains enough decals for each design to be done twice on both hands.

And if feathers are not your style, then try these intricate and delicate Chinese water decals. Nail art design coming soon!

Rhinestones: Now if you had to get just one nail art piece, then this should be it. These rhinestones are the perfect additions to bring a touch of bling to any design. What is unique about this offer is that it comes with two kits, a colorful kit with 12 colors and a black and crystal kit for everyday use. It even comes with a wax pencil for easy application of these studs onto the nail bed.

Coffee Date Night with Bae

There are some simple pleasures in life that I enjoy. Coffee is one of them and a good lipgloss. Today I can have both of them together while we go for a date with bae! Sacha Cosmetics has blown me away with their new intense lipshine glosses and awesome names. I love when companies try to just be real with their customers even in these small details.

Let’s Go to Work with MAC Melba Blush

My work place is pretty open to makeup but I would definitely prefer to keep a simple office type look while there and maybe on casual Fridays for work and on the weekends have a separate look. What I realized when scanning though my makeup stash was that most of my blushes were way too loud for the office so what better excuse to use to hop down to my favourite MAC store. :)
Now just to mention it, don’t try attempting to get quick service on a Friday or Saturday at the MAC store. It’s usually super busy. The MAC makeup artists are always so helpful though but you may require a bit of patience. But patience I had that day which led me to my beloved Melba blush. I just needed the colour to suit my NC 45 skintone, be a powder blush for simple application and be matte, not shimmery. We did try out Fleur Power first, which is a soft pinky coral colour but I still felt it was a tad too bright. Melba however was a soft, coral peach colour and look really great on me when she applied with h…
