Exploding Glitter Sky

Hello beautiful! I'm back today with some glittery goodness in the form of another Busy Girl Summer nail challenge for this week. I'm calling mine Exploding glitter sky since this reminds me so much of fireworks with all burst of colors in the sky just using glitter instead.

It's a very simple design to achieve. All you do is paint your nails two coats of a black polish. Allow to dry fully. Then apply random colors of glittery polish to various sections of the nail using a makeup sponge to dab the polish on. Seal with a top coat and that's it! Voila!

Colors used:
Black shimmery base color: L.A.Girls Obsidian
Red glitter: China Glaze Ruby Pumps
Pink glitter: Kleancolor Kiss Goodbye
Plum Gold glitter: Orly Ingenue
Green glitter: China Glaze Atlantis
Blue glitter: China Glaze Water You Waiting For
Silver blue glitter: China Glaze Liquid crystal

Stay tuned for more Busy Girl Summer Nail Challenge designs :)

I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
