Nail Challenge Day 28: Inspired by your Favorite Color

What's your favorite color? I have two; pink and purple. But lately it seems like I prefer the purple shades for nail art. So for today's design I'm incorporating two of my purple shades for a simple yet stunning look. And it's easy to achieve too! Simply stamp a rich deep purple over a lilac base.

Get the Look:
1. Paint your nails two coats of Cailyn Cosmetics Nail polish #834. This is your lilac base colour.

2. Using a Mash plate #45 and the sideways chevron pattern, stamp on Milani Deep Thoughts.
3. Complete your design with a top coat for added shine! Simple :)

Stay tuned for more nail challenge inspired nail art and don't forget to check out my challenge buddies.

Happy One Year Blogoversary!

One year already? OMG! Time really flies when you're having fun . I really enjoyed my one year with you. I've made new friends, improved on my nail and makeup techniques, tried new trends and products, discovered I love nail art (can you tell) and the list goes on. But most importantly I want to thank you all for your support and kind words that kept me going. Honestly there were some times when I was down since I didn't feel my articles and pictures were great but you stuck in with me and for that I say thank you. But I also would like to say thank you and to celebrate this achievement by my first ever giveaway! A Rafflecopter Giveaway

To Russia with Love from a MAC Russian Red Lipglass

Bold red lips at the touch of a lipglass! I remember when I was afraid to wear red lips. I thought it was just so bold and my timid personality preferred to stick with soft pink lips. Well those thoughts have faded with age and now I can face my fears with the beautiful MAC Russian Red lipglass.

Just when I thought my Rainbow nails were my favourite so far in the challenge, along came the gradient nails and replaced my love in an instant. I couldn't believe how stunning the combination of black and blue would look together. It's a truly simple design that is very popular with the DIY nail polish crowd.
