Nail Challenge Day 27: Inspired by Me :)

When I think about nail art and how far I have come along I am reminded of my love for the colours purple and pink along with being called the gradient queen since I am obsessed with ombre nails. So how about we create a look incorporating all these things?

But let me add one more huge detail that has increased my skills in nail art; her name is ROBIN MOSES. From the first day I discovered her youtube channel, I have been hooked on her detailed video instructions on various nail art techniques and looks.

Get the Look:
1. Paint your nails two coats of Sacha Cosmetics Barefoot in the Sand nail polish.
2. Add a block of purple (Sacha Thriller in The Dark) close to the nail cuticle and covering the top third of the nail bed.
3. Add a pink block of colour underneath the purple block. You can mix the two slightly together. For my pink I'm using Sacha Dance to the Beat.
4. Touch up the tips with Barefoot in the Sand.
5. Using acrylic paints, add some handpainted flowers randomly on each nail.
6. Add some black stems and leaves
7. Complete with a shiny top coat!

If you prefer seeing the original video for this design, here you go! Enjoy!!!

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
