Nail Challenge Day 24: Inspired by a Game

Dominoes anyone? As a child I remember playing this game alot with my late uncle who had a gorgeous set of ivory dominoes he had purchased from his exotic travels. The game itself is fun but I also love to see when you stack them in long rows and set them off all falling down.

Get the Look:
1. Paint your nails two coats of the Sacha Cosmetics Barefoot in D Sand, which is a great alternative to using white polish which may appear too harsh against the skin.
2. Using a black stripper polish, draw horizontal lines halfway down the nail bed.
3. Using a wax pencil, apply 2mm black studs in your numerical pattern to complete the 3D domino look. Both of these products are available at Born Pretty Store here

Short Review: I couldn't believe the absolutely amazing price of these products from Born Pretty Store. You get two of these gem kits, one with black and silver gems and one with 12 coloured gems all with one wax pencil for an amazing price.
The gems are 2mm in diameter and would be enough to last a lifetime not to mention create numerous nail art designs.
The wax pencil come unsharpened but just a regular sharpener can easily create a point to start with. The texture is firm but it still picks up the gems for easy placement onto the nail bed.

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
