Nail Challenge Day 19: Favorite Polish

What is your favorite polish? While I have alot of favorites, there is one true beauty I constantly go back to and her name is Ruby; China Glaze Ruby Pumps to be exact :)

While I constantly use her as a base colour, today I'm using her in some nail stamped art :)

Get the Look:
1.Apply your base coat and two coats of Kleancolor Mettalic Yellow.

2. Using a konad kit of double ended stamper and scraper and Mash plate 45 cherries stamp China Glaze Ruby pump onto the nail bed.
3. Apply Kleancolor Metallic Green for the leaves on the cherries.
4. Seal in with your favorite top coat.

Stay tuned for more nail challenge inspired nail art and don't forget to check out my challenge buddies.

Hot Milk Sponge Cake with Fresh Fruit & Coconut

In today's yummy post we are doing an easy sponge cake (no creaming of butter and sugar involved). Instead of torting this cake we are using two loaf pans to give us our two layers, which we will pull together with vanilla buttercream. I love the rectangular look of this cake rather than the traditional round or square but more importantly the flavors of the toasted coconut on the sides and fresh fruit on top makes for a mouth watering dessert.
