Nail Challenge Day 13: Cheer yourself

I've been called the Gradient Queen before :) I love doing gradients and have done quite a few using the regular method of polish and sponges but seeing a revamped version using stripper brush polishes puts a fun twist to my favorite manicure :)

Get the Look:
1. Start off with your base coat and a yellow green base colour. I'm using Def Defying by China Glaze.
2. Using a dark green stripper brush polish, apply long brush strokes about three quarter way up the nail from the tip. I'm using Nail Fusion by Sacha Cosmetics in Vintage Green.
3.  Repeat using blue but keep the ends of the strips just a bit lower than the dark green ones. I'm using L.A.Colors pop art in Sapphire.
4. Complete the gradient using a black stripper polish. I'm using Nail Fusion by Sacha Cosmetics in Black.
5. Seal in your design with a top coat :)

Stay tuned for more nail challenge inspired nail art and don't forget to check out my challenge buddies.

Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
