Nail Challenge Day 6: Favorite Color Family

Blue blue blue! Despite the fact that pink and purple are my favourite colours, I have way more blue polishes in my stash than any other colour. I just adore the colour blue in a nail polish.

 Get the Look!
1. Paint your nails a light blue base colour like Sally Hansen Blizzard Blue

2. Find as many blue colours polishes are you would like in your design, choose various shades and hues of blue. Here's what I'm using: L.A.Girl Idol, Sparitual Dreams Becoming Reality, Orly Stone Cold, China Glaze Hanging In the Balance, NYC Empire State Blue, Sally Hansen Blizzard Blue

3.  Using a dotting tool, simple dot the different colour blues all over the light blue base. Repeat until you give your design some dotty dimension.
4. Seal with a top coat for some added shine.

Stay tuned for more nail challenge inspired nail art and don't forget to check out my challenge buddies.

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic
