Nail Challenge Day 5: Purple Butterflies

Besides pink, purple is my next favourite colour. Lately both pinks and purples have been competing for that top spot in my heart. I also have been enjoying 3D nail designs and for today's look I'm bringing out the fimo.

But before we get started on the fimo, I need a moment to just stare at this gorgeous rich purple colour from Milani called Deep Thoughts.

To complete the nail design, just add some purple butterflies with pearls randomly onto the nail to create some interest.

Stay tuned for more nail challenge inspired nail art and don't forget to check out my challenge buddies.

The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
