Fashion Inspired: Blue Mesh Nail Art

Hello beautiful! Today's nail art design is inspired by a recent Maybelline design done for a recent fashion event. Instead of looking at their nail art I took my inspiration straight from the dress instead and gave it my own twist by changing up the colour scheme to work with my skintone.

My Nail Art inspiration came from Maybelline and this picture they posted on their facebook page. The original design was done backstage at Bibhu Mohapatra.

Now for my design!

Get the Look:
1. Apply your favourite base coat and then three coats of a sheer pink polish like China Glaze Hopeful.
2. Using a blue stripper brush (like LA Colours Art Deco in Sapphire) apply one line that curves in and out. You want the outside curves to be lined up with the centre of the nail.
3. Repeat step two but in the opposite direction so that the curves touch each other.
4. Continue adding more curves lines until you form your mesh pattern.
5. For a more mesh look, you can fill in a little of the spaces in between where your lines meet
6. Allow to dry fully and seal in your design with a top coat.

So how do you like my version? I was really thrilled with this blue and soft pink version. More fashion inspired nail art coming up!

XoXo

Maybelline Color Tattoo and Loreal Infallible Eyeshadows! Plus More!!!

I can go for weeks, maybe a month without buying new makeup. I have that discipline but all that goes to south (I’m a north girl) when new products come out to play and particularly when I was literally stalking the stores to see if there was a sighting of the new Maybelline color tattoos. Come back next month. Ask me again in two weeks time. These were the comments I kept getting but finally there are here and what better way to celebrate their arrival by going nuts and buying their showcase neighbours as well, the Loreal infallible eye-shadows. I love Pennywise!
