Life is Rosy and Red

It's the love month and I am feeling the love. Life is Rosy is such a fun and inspirational name for a polish from the China Glaze Avant Garden collection. Add some red glitter hearts and you've got yourself some easy valentine's day nails.

The base colour is called Life is Rosy and just two coats was enough to give even and opaque coverage. I did find the formula just a tad bit thicker than I usually expect from China Glaze but not difficult to work with anyway.

I used Love Marilyn also from China Glaze to add some red and silver glitter to my simple design. Use a nail dotter to add some dots in straight lines and also to freehand the small heart in the design. The large heart on the accent finger was done using a tape stencil. Hope you enjoyed and Happy Love Month!

Happy Rosy and Red Life!

I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
