Fairy Fantasy

Hello Bellezzas! I am excited to bring to you a whimsical look inspired by fairies and our recent Carnival season here in T&T. The look incorporates gems, extreme lashes and green lips! This is definitely a fun look even if not suited for everyday wear.

Get the look:
1. The skin was prepped using my Bare Minerals Ready Foundation in Warm Tan and Touch up Mineral Veil in Tinted.
2. The cheeks were bronzed using Black Opal Raspberry Bronzer.
3. The eyes were primed and then a light wash of gold add all over the lids. Apply a dark green in the crease to add depth. Both colours used from Loreal Hip Duo 828- Dynamic.
4.  Line the eyes with Nyx Cosmetics Slide on pencil in Sunrise Blue.
5. Apply some whimsical lashes, these are peacock lashes from Mina.
6. For the lips, apply a skintone lipgloss and then lighly tap on a green pigment such as Soft Touch Iguana Green all over the gloss.
7. Complete the look with a framing arch of gems.

To make the look more authentic, a touch of glitter was added via a glitter tattoo. You would need a stencil, glitter glue and glitter to complete the tattoo. The rest of the accessories like chain headpiece, leaf earrings and chunky handband seals the look.

A special thank you to Maria Dook Photography!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
