Creative Fantasy Dotticure

I have a strong love for purples! While the base colour China Glaze Creative Fantasy gave me application problems, there was no way I was wasting these 4 coats of this gorgeous rich purple crème colour.

To get the look, these were all the polishes used.

Tutorial:
Step 1: Start off with a base coat like Jordana Calcium Boost Basecoat. This is my current favourite which feels like a gel on your nails, give you well a calcium boost to strength weak nails and protects your nails from staining with the dark purple base colour.

Step 2: Apply 4 coats of China Glaze Creative Fantasy. This was the amount of coats I used to get the opacity and smoothen the base colour layer but go ahead and experiment with your own number of coats desired.

Step 3: Start off with a large dotting tool and a blue purple colour called China Glaze Bizarre Blurple. Apply large dots to the end of the nail tip.

Step 4: Use another purple colour but one lighter than your Blurple and apply some more large dots but just a little bit higher up the nail bed. I used China Glaze Spontanous.

Step 5:  Continue the gradient of dots now but add large and medium sized dots and a lighter polish. I used Sally Hansen Greige Gardens.

Step 6: Complete the gradient of dots with a small dotting tool and your lightest lilac colour. I used China Glaze Sweet Hook.

Step 7: Seal in your design with your favourite top coat.

Happy Purple Dotting!

Maybelline Color Tattoo and Loreal Infallible Eyeshadows! Plus More!!!

I can go for weeks, maybe a month without buying new makeup. I have that discipline but all that goes to south (I’m a north girl) when new products come out to play and particularly when I was literally stalking the stores to see if there was a sighting of the new Maybelline color tattoos. Come back next month. Ask me again in two weeks time. These were the comments I kept getting but finally there are here and what better way to celebrate their arrival by going nuts and buying their showcase neighbours as well, the Loreal infallible eye-shadows. I love Pennywise!
