CaraMia Glo Nail Polish Review

Hello beautiful! I love discovering new products and supporting locally made ones at that. Introducing the new Glo polishes from CaraMia Cosmetics that are Made in Trinidad. They are bright colours with super fun names and the best part is that they glow under UV light.

Let's meet a Pink Hottie! This is a gorgeous deep pink crème shade. With two coats you get an even coat with almost full opacity, you can still see the nail line with these two coats.

With Flash
You can wear this colour on its own for a nice bright pop of colour but the true beauty of the polish is revealed when its is under the UV light. The pink colour turns into a glowing coral. It's a retina burning colour! While the average person may not have UV lights in their home, try wearing this polish to a club and you are sure to light up the dance floor.

With UV Light
I can't believe how amazing this colour is with and without the UV light. It's amazing how a local brand can create such a great product. This would go quite well for this carnival season, which is why these are so difficult to find in our local Pennywise. But they are super affordable so you can go ahead and choose more colours. Stay tuned to see how the other colours...Glo!

Happy Glowing!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic
