Igniting Love for Valentine's Day

Hello Bellezza! Let's get the flames of love ignited and ready to go in time for Valentine's Day! Get this Hot Red Beauty with China Glaze's Igniting Love from their Cirque Du Soleil collection.

To get this simple and sweet Valentine's Day nail art, start off with a base coat to protect the natural nail from staining. Dark colours and reds have the tendency to stain the nails. Add two coats of your gorgeous orange based red crème colour to set the tone for your nail design.

The rest of this simple nail art design uses just two more colours; pink (Surreal Appeal; also from the Cirque Du Soleil collection) and a deeper red (Ruby Pumps). Both are colours associated with romance <3

The Hearts are all made using a dotting tool, you simply connect the dots in a heart shape form. You may sketch the outline first and then dot over the line but I did mine freehanded since I rather a more imperfect heart. The pink hearts and additional pink dots were created using China Glaze Surreal Appeal. Now just add a touch of red glitter by adding China Glaze's Ruby Pumps. Seal in your design with your favourite top coat and you're all done!

Happy Valentine'sDay!

Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
