So we have come to the end of our nail challenge and I have to admit this is a bittersweet moment for me. I enjoyed the challenges but at times it was really a challenge to decide on what design to do and balance the quick nail changes in between my regular life. It was so hard to decide on which one I love best but in the end my blue black gradient nails were the most popular so I recreated them using red and black instead :)

When I first started getting into nail art, youtube and cutepolish were my BFF's. I've learnt so many simple tips and tricks from the world of youtube and I am most inspired by the simple creativity of cutepolish. Today's nail design was inspired by one of her more recent tutorials and it is in keeping with the same theme of the movie "The Nightmare before Christmas". Here is the Jack Skellington nails.

I'm back! I'm so glad my creative juices are flowing again and so I can put more effort into create beautiful masterpieces again. So here is my day 29! OMG it's coming to an end soon. For today's challenge I was inspired by the supernatural elements in the movie "The Nightmare before Christmas". I loved this picture with the spooky houses and bright yellow moon so I thought this was very appropriate for today's design.

Hello beautiful! Today's post will showcase the marvelous brand of SleekMakeup. I'm absolutely hooked on their products at the moment. It was also an honor to work with my talented friend, Krystal who willingly used the SleekMakeup Ultra Matte V2 palette and contour kit I got sometime ago for this photo-shoot. I was so blown away by her talent in the use of the products that for a moment I didn't recognize myself here. Take a look for yourself!

I'm still suffering from nail art block but I didn't want to skip a day. Challenges are made to push you forward and make you better so here's my day 28 nail art inspired by the Puerto Rico flag. When I was looking at vacation spots this year I found out that Puerto Rico has the biggest mall in the Caribbean. So I mean what's not to love about that!

It was truly an honour to be invited to the launch of the LCN products by the gorgeous Ceola Belix. I've never heard of this brand before so it was great to see up close the products offered by the brand and learn more about them. Let's start of by saying the event was hosted by 14IRL Ltd and guests were greeted with good music, drinks and these yummy cupcakes.

Every so often I guess I'm like a writer with writer's block except mine is in terms of nail designs. Nail art block! haha. For this challenge, I didn't have a personal piece to draw inspiration from so instead I took to the world wide web for that. I found this beautiful piece of digital art called Purple Spring by Dianar87.

Is it too early for Christmas? Well I've already started with my latest nail art design inspired by the pattern of Christmas bows. I have a roll of this gorgeous ribbon just waiting to be used and the combination of the red and gold is simply stunning. The intricate details in the ribbon is soft and feminine but festive at the same time. In reality while this does remind me of Christmas, it also reminds me of those Indian Bridal sarees.

Lately I've been in love with fashion. I'm willing to try all different types of styles and prints; at least once. While scanning the catwalks I came across an interesting design from Carlos Miele Spring 2013 collection that I thought was an interesting take on the classic animal print.

Can you tell I'm totally letting two little kids decide on my latest nail designs? I remember saying to Abi that I need a book for inspiration and she immediately pulled out her favourite book, The Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Out of the huge collection of books they own, this is the only one she will read over and over again. She already wants all the other books in the series now.

The world is opening up to us! More and more you can find more brands from around the world available locally here for purchase. This is great for those who prefer to support local companies and of course don't have to worry about imports and its associated fees. Most times the downside of this would be that the prices are exorbitant but at Red Hot Love this is clearly not the case for new brands on the scene; Sleek Makeup, MUA and Color Cosmetics.

Under the sea, under the sea! Sing with me. So you guessed it, The Little Mermaid is quite popular in my house. Although I think Madagascar 3 may give it some new competition. The design is inspired from the beautiful waters under the sea.

I'm so excited to share with you that Bellezza Bee now has its own Facebook Page. I was a bit skeptical to start at first but your overwhelming support made the decision a whole lot easier for me. It will be an extension of the blog sharing pictures of upcoming makeup to be reviewed, nail polish with swatches and nail art designs, extra photos from my makeup shoots, upcoming local beauty events, makeup inspiration and many more beauty related adventures of mine! I'm really looking forward to doing my first fashion post too. Take a look at my current page header.

It's a funny story how I came about this song inspired nail design. It just so happened that I bought the two colours used in this look together and I just love the fact that they have gold elements to them. I thought they would look good together but didn't know quite how until for some strange reason I starting singing Gold Digger! So here's my Gold Digger design!

I love being in the Caribbean with the bright colours everywhere all year round. For this challenge however I was inspired by the beautiful season of Fall that we don't really experience here. It just so happens that I got a few colours from the Orly Fired Up Fall 2012 collection and they did a tutorial on their facebook page that fueled this design.

I'm thrilled to be doing my first Polish Days challenge. You can find more information on this at Polly Polish. So this month's theme is called Sentimental, so your manicure must represent something well sentimental. Be it the polish itself or the design. I'm choosing to go with the design. What better way to celebrate October than with a breast cancer awareness manicure that brings me back to an aunt of mine who suffered and died from cancer. She was indeed loved by our family.
Ok so wow! I have some huge respect for you watermarble pros out there! This was my hardest challenge so far and while it's not a complete failure, it did take me a few tries to get this one done. You can still see some mistakes but I still really love the colour combo and will be willing to try again soon!

Enter my Purple Galaxy! I love using purples of any kind for a nail design and since I already did my first galaxy nails using blue as the base I thought it only appropriate to try purple instead for this one.

I've never really ventured into the half moons. But now that I am here I truly like them. They are simple but elegant. Pair them with contrasting colours to see the true beauty of this design.

Which girl doesn't love glitter? Well certainly not any in my house. Even with all the fuss about its removal, it's definitely a big hit. Now combine that with one of my favourite colours and we have a winner!

Try and try again. I wasn't happy with my original design and since I had enough time today I tried another one. I'm really glad I did since this design turned out to be more than I expected. I love the contrast on the colours, it's simplicity yet way it truly represents today's theme.
