Happy 50th Independance T&T Nails

Hello gorgeous! This is just a simple design using the colours of our nail flag to celebrate the momentous occasion of Trinidad and Tobago on its 50th year of Independence! I will be wearing this design right up to the actual day of Independence on August 31st (the day before I start my 31 days plus bonus nail art challenge). 

31 Days Nail Challenge

I finally doing this! Yes I'm embarking on the 31days nail challenge but with a twist! Work constraints and the fact that I want to enjoy my manicure for a least one day means I most likely will not be able to post every day so I will do my challenge every other day instead starting from September 1st!

In nail art though, practice makes perfect and so it can feel like you are after a while. And if you are not (like I am) these nails are great to show off some nail art anyway.

Beauty Adventure? I've finally locked down the Revlon Colorstay whipped creme makeup and I've been wearing this for two weeks. I absolutely love it! It has amazing texture, so soft and glides on smoothly onto the skin. I love applying the product with my fingers.

Strawberry Chocolate Drip Nails

It's one of my favorite combinations. Just some simple chocolate syrup with strawberry ice cream! Of course the only way you can make that better is to add some gummy bears on top. But in my house, my nieces usually make them hard to find!

Hello Gorgeous! Well wasn't it about time I showed you a makeup look instead of nail design! I've been really into my nails lately but makeup was always my first love! Purple is now one of my favourite colours (move over pink!). Pair my love with purple with a smoky eye and just a hint of sparkle to get these gorgeous Purple Star eyes!

Happy One Year Blogoversary!

One year already? OMG! Time really flies when you're having fun. I really enjoyed my one year with you. I've made new friends, improved on my nail and makeup techniques, tried new trends and products, discovered I love nail art (can you tell) and the list goes on. But most importantly I want to thank you all for your support and kind words that kept me going. Honestly there were some times when I was down since I didn't feel my articles and pictures were great but you stuck in with me and for that I say thank you. But I also would like to say thank you and to celebrate this achievement by my first ever giveaway!

I wanted to do some simple corset nails but the choice of colours as well as the technique has me thinking it looks more like sneakers to me. You decide.

It seems like makeup and nail polish follow me around everywhere I go. I can drum up a conversation just around the word makeup or nail polish! Emancipation Day Nails

Hello beautiful! Happy Emancipation Day from all of Trinidad and Tobago!!! It's basically a day to celebrate the emancipation of African slaves. According to our Emancipation Support Committee this year marks their 20th anniversary as a committee as we move into the 50th anniversary of our independence as a nation. So celebrations were held all over the island and I wanted to show my support and love for my country once again in the form of these nails inspired by African designs.
