Simple Tribal Nails

Even though I’ve never been one to go with the flow, I seem to be following trends lately. Nail inspired by tribal prints are absolutely gorgeous and I couldn’t help but try to do this for myself. Would you care to join me? Here are some pretty simple steps. Feel free to change up the colours. I have been in love with these two metallic shades.
Step one: Apply base coat if using a dark shade. I applied China Glaze’s Strong adhesion base coat followed by two coats of Orly’s Stone Cold.
Step two: Using another color of your choice, apply a strip of that colour down the middle. I choose L.A. Girl metallic nail colour in Antique gold. Quick tip, make sure your base colour and this second strip colour are contrasting ones for that pop. At this point I wanted to stop since my two colours were stunning on their own! But let’s move forward.
Step three: Draw black lines to the edges of where the two colours meet each other. Try the Sally Hansen nail art pen in black if you have shaky hands like me.
Step four: Finish you design by drawing zig zag lines within the two black lines and add dots within each triangle. You’re done!
Wasn’t that super easy? I can see myself trying out more variations with different colours and lines. Following trends can be fun! Give it a try!
Happy Tribal Nails!

Lucky Spring Greens

Hello Beautiful! Hope you are having a wonderful day! I recently fell head over heels in love with MAC’s Lucky Green. It’s a colour that I can’t get enough of. It would be my spring look if I was living wherever there is a spring season but since it’s sunny over here in the Caribbean well it fits in just nicely too! Don’t mind me since it isn’t Christmas but I love pairing green with red.
I’m posing here! lol
Face
Revlon Beyond Natural Smoothing primer
Sacha Mattifier
Loreal Translucide Loose powder in Medium
Revlon Colorstay Makeup in Toast
MAC Prolongewear concealer in NC 45
NYX blush in Desert Rose
Eyes
MAC False Lashes extreme black mascara
Coastal Scents Go Palette Cairo
Ambrosia Cosmetics Amplified
NYX Slim eye pencil in Acid Green
Lips
Revlon Matte Lipstick In The Red
In case you are wondering, because this green is super gorgeous I wanted that to be the main focus on the eyes and just use a little black to create a defined crease, but not a cut crease so you could see the contrast of the green against the black.
Do you have a favourite green you absolutely love? I guess you know what is mine now!
Happy Spring Greens!
XOXO
Naomi
