Golden Holiday Line

Hey beautiful, here is a simple eye look to show the beautiful gold colour of Sleek Dip It eyeliner. It's perfect for the holiday season and is easy enough to be completed in 5 minutes.

Get the Look:
1. Prime the eye with your favorite eye primer and apply your skintone shade all over the lid up to the browbone. I'm using Makeup Academy eyeshadow in Shade 17. It's a matte shade perfect for my medium dark skintone.
2. Next using a blending brush apply a matte dark brown into the crease and moving slightly upwards. I used MAC Handwritten. Blend out any harsh lines with the skintone shade.
3. Now for the star of the show, apply the Sleek Dip It eyeliner in Gold to the top lashline. Make it catty if you like.
4. Apply a dark brown liner to the top waterline to add some dimension and then add your mascara to top and bottom lashes.
5. Now add a hint of the gold liner to the tips of the bottom lashes for some added bling. That's it!

I love the felt tip applicator with its precise point. The liner itself is opaque in one layer and flows smoothly over the eye area. Oh and once it sets, it sets. The Dip It liners come in 9 gorgeous colours. But the gold is one of my favourite! Stay tuned for more Sleeked goodness :)

Happy Gold Lines!!!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
