Counting down the days to Christmas! It's the most wonderful time of the year for me and what better way to start than some simple nail art. These were requested by my nieces who love the idea of snow. They have never seen snow and I have see it for just a few minutes when I was in Chicago recently. Now this is how we can seen them all the time.
It's really simple to achieve. Just your base colour which you can choose to be any colour of your choice. Here I am using two coats of a blue called Frostbite from China Glaze. Next I take a dotting tool and apply white dots on the nail edge to make the pile of snow on the ground. and then some random dots higher up to represent the falling snow. Change up the dotting tool sizes to get a more abstract snow pattern. I complete the look with one coat of NYC New Your Color Starry Silver Glitter.
Of course if you like, you can stop at the point of just the "snow" without the glitter but i love the glitter pieces bringing just a touch of bling to these simple frostbite nails. Stay tuned for more Christmas nail art!
