Sleeked Out

Hello beautiful! Today's post will showcase the marvelous brand of SleekMakeup. I'm absolutely hooked on their products at the moment. It was also an honor to work with my talented friend, Krystal who willingly used the SleekMakeup Ultra Matte V2 palette and contour kit I got sometime ago for this photo-shoot. I was so blown away by her talent in the use of the products that for a moment I didn't recognize myself here. Take a look for yourself!

Let's talk a bit about the other products used first. The flawless skin was created using the Graftobian Hi-Def Glamour creme palette in Warm. She used pinks and red from her Coastal Scents 180 palette for blush.
Now onto the eye makeup which to me was the best part of my look. She used the highly pigmented colours of the Sleek Makeup Matte V2 palette and worked her way into creating a purple glam look. She remarked at how intensely dark the black colour, Noir was and when she first used it, she applied a bit too much. I had a similar experience when I first tried this colour.

Besides being a truly amazing friend and talented artist, she was kind enough to make a face diagram to show all the colours from the palette she used.
And did you notice the bone structure? I now see the definition of my facial structure with the utilization of the Sleek Makeup Contour kit in dark.

At the time of the shoot we used the hot pink OCC lip tar in Demure. However if you wanted to keep most thing all Sleek, then the Pout paint in Rosette would do just fine. And since we are playing dress up, I would call this a Pink Milk Maid!

Sleek Makeup is currently available here and you can see more about their selection of products at my previous post. Have you tried anything from Sleek Makeup yet?

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
