Red Hot Love for SleekMakeup

The world is opening up to us! More and more you can find more brands from around the world available locally here for purchase. This is great for those who prefer to support local companies and of course don't have to worry about imports and its associated fees. Most times the downside of this would be that the prices are exorbitant but at Red Hot Love this is clearly not the case for new brands on the scene; Sleek Makeup, MUA and Color Cosmetics.

Today's post will showcase the prestige SleekMakeup line. Their colour range is fabulous and for the lovers of bright and colourful makeup like myself you are sure to be impressed. But don't despair if bright colours are not your style, the range allows for neutral and softer shades perfect for the office or just a natural look. Let's begin with my favourite part of the store!

Lately I've been on a blush and lipcolour phase and Sleek doesn't disappoint. Their blushes are pigmented so just a touch of your blush brush can give you an instant flush. There is even a blush named Flushed!
Do you love your lips? Sleek has an assortment of lip treats from their popular pout paints, creamy lipsticks, soothing pout polishes to slick lipglosses.
Their eyeshadow palettes are a great bargain with 12 colours that allows you to put together numerous looks yet it's small enough to fit into your handbag perfectly. The Acid palette being the most favourite with the local fans. We just love our colour!

Let's cover the basics now. Here you can find their Oil Free with SPF 15 Cream to powder foundation, brow kits, contour kits and translucent loose powders.

Drawing lines never seem easier with their lipliners and eyeliners. Did you notice the empty spots? Yes they are going fast. If you can get you hands on the Eau La La lipliners then you would have scored. It's a smudge proof, multiple purpose pencil. And for the eyes I recommend you checking out the kohl pencils; they are pigmented, matte and creamy at the same time.

So that's the Sleek Makeup available at Red Hot Love in Chaguanas. I can't begin to explain how wonderful it was to experience such amazing quality in a brand and the range of products available made me feel like a kid in a candy store. I'm sure we can look out for the store expanding and making more of the wonderful Sleek Makeup products available soon. I couldn't help myself and some of these beauties made its way home with me. Look out for upcoming looks and reviews.

Did you think I was finished? No Way! Red Hot Love has more products in store you for makeup and nail polish fans. Stay tuned for my upcoming posts on MUA, Color Cosmetics, Ferity and Eylure.

XOXO
Naomi

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
