Nail Challenge Day 20: B&W Watermarbled

Ok so wow! I have some huge respect for you watermarble pros out there! This was my hardest challenge so far and while it's not a complete failure, it did take me a few tries to get this one done. You can still see some mistakes but I still really love the colour combo and will be willing to try again soon!

I just started off with two coats of China Glaze's White on White and add alternate circles of this white and China Glaze's Liquid Leather for the watermarble.

Stay tuned for Day 21: Inspired by a Colour and be sure to stop by Jayne's blog Cosmetic Proof and Traci's blog DrinkCitra to see what gorgeous designs they also created for this challenge!

Happy Watermarbling!
XOXO

  8. I tried water marbling a couple times and maybe one nail would look good, but the others would be a mess! All my friends who tried it had the same issues. This looks good though.

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
