ABC Challenge: C is for Colourful China Glaze Crackle Nails

What another challenge? I must be nuts or just a huge nail polish addict right? I'll take the latter please! I thought this was a brilliant challenge and didn't want to miss out on this one so here I am taking part in the ABC challenge. For more information on this challenge please visit the Llama Nails on Facebook. This week the letter is C. My C stands for Colourful, China Glaze, Crackle Nails with a tutorial in case you're interested to create this design for yourself.

Here's a look at all the China Glaze polishes used to create this design.

So first you want to start off with the Strong adhesion base coat to prevent the nails from staining and then one opaque coat of Liquid Leather.

Next you want to add Platinum Pieces, a silver crackle to parts of the black base coat like this.

Now repeat using another colour: Glam-More, a fuchsia pink crackle.

You see a pattern here right? Repeat with another colour. Here is Oxidised Aqua crackle.

And now for my final colour to complete any open black space: add a purple crackle called Fault Line.

Clean up any mistakes and add your Fast Forward top coat to bring on the shine!

Now feel free to express yourself in terms of how many colours used and how big your patches of crackle colour used. I would love for you to head on over to Gorgeois to see her gorgeous Shatter Mosaic which is where I got this idea from.

Happy C- Challenge!
XOXO

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic
