Nail Challenge Day 15: Delicate China

Hello beautiful! For today's nail challenge I must admit this was indeed a challenge. I had to try a few times before I created this beautiful nail art that was inspired by the blue and white prints of fine china.

Nail Challenge Day 14: SunFlowers

Hello Sunshine! You want to brighten up your day today? Well these sunny sunflowers just might do the trick. Doing this nail challenge reminded me that I haven't really done much flower nail art but here I have the chance to change that...now.

ABC Challenge: C is for Colourful China Glaze Crackle Nails

What another challenge? I must be nuts or just a huge nail polish addict right? I'll take the latter please! I thought this was a brilliant challenge and didn't want to miss out on this one so here I am taking part in the ABC challenge. For more information on this challenge please visit the Llama Nails on Facebook. This week the letter is C. My C stands for Colourful, China Glaze, Crackle Nails with a tutorial in case you're interested to create this design for yourself.

Nail Challenge Day 13: Animal Print

Moo! Moo! Moo! Forgive me while I let out my inner cow. Would you believe this design was actually inspired by a milk carton? Yup, the latest milk out on the market here for us is literally called My Moo Milk.

Nail Challenge Day 12: Side Stripes

Stripes! At one point I had a mean fear for these. I mean just the thought of doing them would make my hands super shaky and the stripes would always come out croaked. If you have those issues, then the nail art polishes with the stripper brushes may just come to your rescue.

Nail Challenge Day 11: Friday Polka Dots

Wow! We are into the patterns now! This nail challenge is moving along nicely. If you remember my rainbow nails or black & white ones you probably already know I love polka dots! Any sizes or colours, they are just simple to do and really easy for you DIY nail junkies! Here's my latest version using one of my favourite pinks, OPI Pink Friday.

Nail Challenge Day 10: Blue Black Gradient Nails

Just when I thought my Rainbow nails were my favourite so far in the challenge, along came the gradient nails and replaced my love in an instant. I couldn't believe how stunning the combination of black and blue would look together. It's a truly simple design that is very popular with the DIY nail polish crowd.

Nail Challenge Day 9: Rainbow Nails

Somewhere over the rainbow. Way up high! Oh this manicure has me singing that song. I really enjoyed bringing out the acrylic paints to do this easy version of a rainbow manicure. It's simply made out of dots so anyone with a nail dotter, toothpick or pin can do it.

Road Trip to Tres Belle Cosmetique

It's been a while since I last took a road trip when the sole purpose was to find a specific beauty destination. Let's meet Tres Belle Cosmetique together! Not only was I finding the location of their new store but it was an honour to meet the team and celebrate their one year anniversary at the same time!

Nail Challenge Day 8: Metallic Antique Gold Nails

I'm learning so much from these nail challenges; like the fact that I love polka dots and don't have much metallic colours. Oh and by the way I love antique gold just like this colour from L.A.Girl.

Nail Challenge Day 7: Classic Black and White Polka Dot Nails

I'm in love with polka dots. It's really simple to do and if you don't have a dotting tool, just a regular toothpick or bobby pin would do. Here's the classic black with white polka dots.

Nail Challenge Day 6: Violet Lilac Nails

So as I promised I put just a tad more effort into the Purple nail challenge than as for my Blue ones. Purple after all is one of my favourite colours.

Nail Challenge Day 5: Blue Sky Nails

It's been so hot lately, like scorching hot where a good fan, cold coca cola and skimpy clothing does not seem to help at all. The one good thing about it is that the sky is so beautiful and blue! Meet my Sky Blue nails .

My First Guest Post: Newspaper Nails

I've finally gotten around to doing my first guest post at the wonderful blog of K, A Thing Of Beauty ! The post is not only my first guest post but also my first attempt at newspaper nails. It's super simple and I've done a tutorial on how to get these. So stop on by A Thing of Beauty to see how you can get these for yourself!

Nail Challenge Day 4: Green Nabi Nails

Unexpected! That's what I have to say for this gorgeous green colour. My coworker introduced me to this brand of nail polish called Nabi. She's a true nail addict like myself so we love discovering new brands of polish especially when it is so reasonably priced.

Nail Challenge Day 3: Yellow Nails

The bumble bee nails has been on my to do list in like forever! My nieces were most excited for me to attempt these. They've watched The Bee Movie probably like a million times. You know how kids can watch one movie over and over and over and never get tired of it! So this is my attempt at bee nails.

Nail Challenge Day 2: Orange Nails

I have to admit I was a bit stumped for a while trying to figure out what to do for orange nails. My favorite orange polish at the moment is a burnt orange from Orly's Fired Up collection called Flicker. So I started off with two coats of Flicker but the other orange polishes were not to be left out so I decided on doing some watercoloured nails using orange colours. This is the final result!

Nail Challenge Day 1: Red T&T Flag Nails

And were off! Day One of the Nail Challenge begins with red nails and how appropriate for me at this time since Trinidad and Tobago celebrated its 50th Independence Day just yesterday! My version of red nails is symbolic of the colours and pattern of the national flag.
