Happy Friday! Volume #20

Who doesn’t love a Friday? It’s the start to the weekend where we beauty lovers can get some more time to indulge in our stashes of beauty items. More so we get maybe some time for ourselves to just do nothing much or something extravagant! It’s also a time for me to share more about me to you that may or may not be beauty related. Feel free to share what you will be up to this weekend. Happy Friday!

Beauty Adventure? I've finally locked down the Revlon Colorstay whipped creme makeup and I've been wearing this for two weeks. I absolutely love it! It has amazing texture, so soft and glides on smoothly onto the skin. I love applying the product with my fingers.

It reminds me of the texture of the Garnier BB cream just a bit thicker and with some more coverage. The coverage can be done lightly and is build-able if needed.
I absolutely love the packaging. It's a glass pot so it is a bit heavy but I like the classy look. It comes with a white insert within the pot. I've tried this one for up to 12 hours and it remains in place but I did have some shine in the T-zone areas. This foundation leaves me with a dewy finish.

With flash!
And the best part for me was that when compared to the regular Colorstay foundation in the same shade, they both look like the same. Can you tell which one is which?
Shade: Sweetheart!
I've also got myself just one of these Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain so see what this craze is all about. So far, so good!
Plans for the weekend?  I'm trying to enter my first competition with a nail art design using the Trinidad & Tobago national flag colours of red, white and black. I have the red nail base identified! It's the gorgeous China Glaze Ruby Pumps. Now it's just to design.

Something about me? I love the outdoors. I especially love exploring my beautiful island. Here is a gorgeous lighthouse located in Toco. My bf and I usually come up here to sit on the rocks while I do some reading  and he tries to hook himself some fish! It's really a relaxing place away from all the hustle and bustle of the city.

  3. Girl! I went in Pennywise just to purchase a few essentials recently only "planning" to spend $80 for the most. I of course passed by the make-up counter, to my pockets' dismay! I got it and I love it! I wore it today to attend church and I agree it is lovely.

    1. Oh i forgot to mention that price! yes its a bit much but i feel like it would last a long time since you dont have to apply too much for a good coverage. Glad you like it. SO far its my favourite out of every other foundation i've tried!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
