Camouflage Nails

Attention! Stand at ease soldier with these camouflage nails. You don’t want your bare nails sticking out like a sore thumb (pun intended!) so let’s cover them up!

This is a super easy nail design. I tried it using a basic colours found in army outfits but you can of course choose to do this with other colours. For example if you choosing to do a blue camouflage design, you will need a black, dark, medium and light blue nail polishes. Let me show you how mine was done!

Start off with a neutral base coat colour. Here I’m using China Glaze Kalahari Kiss from the Safari collection.

Using a dotting tool, draw on random spots using a dark brown colour. I’m using China Glaze Street Chic from the Metro collection. At this point it looks like a giraffe skin!

Now add some green spots using the dotting tool covering slightly over some of the brown spots. Here I’m using China Glaze Agro from the Hunger games collection.

Finish off the camouflage look by adding black spots randomly just like you did with the green. Here I’m using China Glaze Liquid Leather.

Seal off your design with your favourite top coat for a simple yet stunning look! I’m definitely repeating this one but as a blue camo next time!

Maybelline Color Tattoo and Loreal Infallible Eyeshadows! Plus More!!!

I can go for weeks, maybe a month without buying new makeup. I have that discipline but all that goes to south (I’m a north girl) when new products come out to play and particularly when I was literally stalking the stores to see if there was a sighting of the new Maybelline color tattoos. Come back next month. Ask me again in two weeks time. These were the comments I kept getting but finally there are here and what better way to celebrate their arrival by going nuts and buying their showcase neighbours as well, the Loreal infallible eye-shadows. I love Pennywise!

Happy One Year Blogoversary!

One year already? OMG! Time really flies when you're having fun . I really enjoyed my one year with you. I've made new friends, improved on my nail and makeup techniques, tried new trends and products, discovered I love nail art (can you tell) and the list goes on. But most importantly I want to thank you all for your support and kind words that kept me going. Honestly there were some times when I was down since I didn't feel my articles and pictures were great but you stuck in with me and for that I say thank you. But I also would like to say thank you and to celebrate this achievement by my first ever giveaway! A Rafflecopter Giveaway
