Plain Old Polish: L.A. Girl Color Addict in Disorder

Hello there! This is just a super quick post to show you this gorgeous plain old polish. Recently I have been trying out different brands of polish (I still love you China Glaze) to find cheaper alternatives and just to see what maybe a good overall buy. I didn't have much grey colours so I picked up a random bottle of L.A.Girl Color Addict Polish and boy was I surprised! It's hot!

It's opaque in two coats but I added a third just for good measure. The dark grey colour becomes amazing with the antique gold reflects throughout the polish.Top it all off with one coat of Orly Glosser.

Moral of the story! Try something new, you may just be surprised! Until next time I show just another plain old polish

Happy Polishing!
XOXO

    1. Oh yes i thought a grey polish would be boring but it's actually quite classy. I just store my polishes in two wicket baskets for now. I guess as I acquire more I'll have to find a better way. You can see my nail polish collection in one of my earlier posts!!!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
