Happy Friday! Volume#16

Who doesn’t love a Friday? It’s the start to the weekend where we beauty lovers can get some more time to indulge in our stashes of beauty items. More so we get maybe some time for ourselves to just do nothing much or something extravagant! It’s also a time for me to share more about me to you that may or may not be beauty related. Feel free to share what you will be up to this weekend. Happy Friday!

Beauty Adventure? Can you tell that I'm crazy about nail polish lately? I seem to can't get enough of the bright colours and trying out different brands. I'm started posting plain manicures in my new series called Plain Old Polish. It's my hope to be able eventually to show you all the colours in my stash. Of course the fact that I was almost to 100 bottles annoyed me so much I made a trip to a Wonderful World (pun intended) and bought just a few more to push me over the 100 mark.

Plans for the weekend? I'm planning to do some nail art. I want to try out Galaxy nails and maybe a freehand art design using acrylic paints. I found a set with loads of colours and since these are very pigmented and easier to work with for nail art, I see greater designs in my future.

Something about me?  I finally got myself a new camera and it's so beautiful to be able to take pictures of gorgeous life around you. Remember my soft lily look? Well here is the flower that inspired that look. Super gorgeous right? And my mom planted some squash in our yard, which is always so amazing to see when it grows. Green thumbs!

Happy Friday!
XOXO

    3. Sure! It's a SLR, Canon T3i. Bulky guy this one, still trying to get my hands around using it myself. Really need a stand to help me out. It has so many features sometimes I'm confused, still trying to figure it out.

    4. Would u believe thats actually one that i was looking at getting. Wanted to get the t2i but found the 3ti to be a better value though they're both pretty pricey. Did u get the one with the lens. sorry for asking all these questions but i know u would give an honest review

    5. Oh yes you need at least one lens, dont buy the camera without one unless you have one already or can get them here. But it's a better value deal to buy camera and lens as a bundle. I used amazon but beware of the shipping charges. I just got the basic lens, i think it the 55mm lens. And feel free to ask away! No problem

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
