Happy Friday! Volume #18

Who doesn’t love a Friday? It’s the start to the weekend where we beauty lovers can get some more time to indulge in our stashes of beauty items. More so we get maybe some time for ourselves to just do nothing much or something extravagant! It’s also a time for me to share more about me to you that may or may not be beauty related. Feel free to share what you will be up to this weekend. Happy Friday!

Beauty Adventure? So I really did need to go shopping for neutral nail polish colours and it was so ironic how I only happened on the China Glaze Safari Collection only after I had just completed my Blue Zebra and Golden Leopard nails. Anyway, I chose to walk away with just Kalahari Kiss and Elephant Walk. It was hard to leave the other gorgeous colours behind but I had to stick with what I came for!

I honestly thought I wouldn't like these as much as I love my bright colours but just one coat of Kalahari Kiss was enough to convert me into a nude polish girl for a few days. It's so creamy and almost opaque in one coat. Perfect office colour for me.

Can you see my meeting notes on my hand? lol

Plans for the weekend? Well to use all that gorgeous polish of course! My good friend Kaveta told me I should move away from Africa and head to Asia for my next nail art inspiration. I'm thinking Cherry Blossoms are in order.

Something about me? My two year old flat screen tv malfunctioned and I've been without my television for a month while the tv man works his magic. But boy do I feel like incomplete without it! Wondering now what people did when there were no tv's!

Happy Friday!
XOXO

    1. Very similar but Kalahari kiss is more yellow and with no sparkes, classic caramal has some shimmer in it and looks for brown

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
