Happy Friday! Volume #17

Who doesn’t love a Friday? It’s the start to the weekend where we beauty lovers can get some more time to indulge in our stashes of beauty items. More so we get maybe some time for ourselves to just do nothing much or something extravagant! It’s also a time for me to share more about me to you that may or may not be beauty related. Feel free to share what you will be up to this weekend. Happy Friday!

Beauty Adventure? I did some reorganizing this week and realized there were so many products that I haven't tried out yet. I do want to not be a hoarder but use and appreciate every nail polish or makeup item in my stash. So now I keep the new items in this cute basket and plan to test them out this month. Can I do it all?

In particular and as part of my branching out phase into trying new brands, I've found three new brands (for me) of nail polish just waiting to be painted on my nails. In case you a Trinidadian, hop on over to the Magical Makeup booth in Trincity Mall for these 3 beauties.

Plans for the weekend? Spiderman Anyone? In the odd case I can actually get tickets, I can hardly wait to see this movie.
But just in case all the shows are sold out, then I'll gladly go home and wear this gorgeous pink goodness just to cheer me up. Did I mention this was my first OCC lip tar? Happy dance!!!

Something about me? I've been hooked on Indian Chai tea every since a coworker introduced me to it. It's a must have before I go to sleep.

Happy Friday!
XOXO

  1. Hey, thanks for following me - I'm following you back now! That's such a great idea to keep unused products separate to remind yourself to try them! x

  2. Oh that's a good idea Nam! I should have a section for new products or items I have not used yet. Instead of arranging them into their little categories.

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
