A Simple Pomegranate Punk Look

Want to know what to do with the Maybelline color tattoos? Use them as a base! So that once you apply a coordinating eye-shadow on top, it certainly pops. Join me if you want to recreate this simply yet sultry look using the Maybelline Pomegranate Punk color tattoo.

Face Products:
Revlon Beyond Natural Smoothing Primer, to prep the face and minimise the appearance of pores
Chanel Perfection Lumiere in Beige, absolutely in love with this foundation since it gives a natural, dewy finish! It smells great too! Too bad it was only a sample L
MAC Melba Powder Blush, just a soft peachy, barely there blush to keep the focus on the eyes
ELF Natural Radiance Blusher in Glow, used as a highlight to complement Melba
Maybelline Fit Me Powder, for the finishing touch. It has a hint of shimmer for a natural glow.

All about the Eyes:
Maybelline color tattoo eyeshadow in Pomegranate Punk, as base for pigments Concept and Desire
NYX Jumbo eye pencil in Cashmere, as base for tear duct pigment, Sand Storm
Halener Rustique pigments in Sand Storm (Soft pink with blue reflects), Concept (burgundy), and Desire (dark red brown)
Coastal Scents Go Palette Cairo, matte brown for blending and matte light brown for highlight
Maybelline Illegal lengths mascara in Blackest black
Ruby Kisses liquid eyeliner in Shiny black
Jordana Easyliner for eyes in Smokey, for lower wateline
Kiss perfect brow pencil in Spiked

Lips, Sealed with a Kiss:
Kleancolor lip liner in Natural
NYX Megashine lip gloss in Natural

Do you want to turn up the volume on this look and take it up a notch? Well then switch out the natural lips for a red hot one! Just this simple change makes a big difference.

Red lips:
Kleancolor lip liner in Hot Red
Revlon matte lipstick in In the Red
MAC Russian Red lipglass, add to bottom lips to create pouty lips
This makes the look perfect for a date night, think wine and roses

How would you wear Pomegranate Punk? Natural or Red lips?
Happy Pomegranate Punk!
XOXO
Naomi

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
