China Glaze Glam-More Crackle Glitter Tips

Glitter can be so much fun. If you are not planning to get a full nail of glitter, then simply add them to your tips like you would in a French manicure. Add a flower accent and you’re all done for these easy simple glitter tips. Glam-more is a gorgeous fuchsia coloured crackle glitter polish.

I really started off trying to get the tips to crackle only but the polish was quite watery at the beginning so the cracks were barely visible. So to make the polish a regular glitter one instead of a crackle glitter I just went over again with another thicker coat of polish on the tips. The formula seems to thicken after a few uses. It does crack but it seems to do so better over larger areas and after the formula thicken up a bit. This was the first manicure done with China Glaze’s Glam-More Crackle Glitter.

Start with a base coat to make remove of glitter easier
Glitter applied in two coats over tips and one coat on accent finger. Add top coat.
I didn’t quite like the look of the full nail with the crackle so I just removed it and made it a glitter tip instead. So much better now!

You probably guessed I just couldn’t stop there and then added the pink flowers to it. Using a nail dotting tool, I applied OPI’s Pink Friday in the shape of a flower and the middle dot of the China Glaze Glam-More crackle glitter to tie it all together.

Hope you enjoyed. How do you wear your glitter?
Happy Glitter Glam!
XOXO
Naomi

    1. At one point in time my nails were very weak and I used an Orly product (totally forgot the name now) but it has kevlar fibers in it, the same fibers used in bullet proof vests!!!! After that they were super strong and grew out without much effort. I've stopped using it a long time now and they still are like this without any effort!!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
