Vegas Baby! MAC Vegas Volt Lipstick

Who wouldn’t want to visit Vegas?  The city of Las Vegas is renowned for its shopping, casinos and fine dining. It’s filled with bright lightings and that’s exactly what this lipstick reminds me of with it bright coral colour that sure to make you the star attraction of your own Las Vegas show!

Product Packaging: Just the regular standard black bullet type lipstick tube with 3g of product.

Product Colours: I was actually looking for MAC’s Crosswires lipstick but they were all sold out at the time. I had only just realised that my lipstick collection comprised mainly of just pink and red lipsticks. I wanted a coral colour for this time of the year. Vegas Volt is an intensely pigmented coral colour.

Product Performance: This lipstick has an amplified creme finish. It glides on smoothly onto the lips and I get a good wear time out of it (think 5-6 hours). It also has the typical MAC vanilla scent.

Product Flexibility: Coral colours are hot at the moment! Try pairing your coral mouth with coral nails. Try China Glaze’s Coral Star or Revlon’s Tropical Temptation.

Product Availability & Price: This colour is permanent so you can buy it anytime at the regular price of $130TT (West Mall or Gulf City) or US$14.50 (maccosmetics.com).

Are you into coral colours? What coral lipsticks or lipglosses are your favourite?
Happy Coral!
XOXO
Naomi

    2. I also like "Coral Berry" from Revlon (#674 Super Lustrous Lipstick)...it's kind of a soft coral color with just a hint of berry...just like the name says! LOL On me it looks more coral...I don't really notice the "berry" in it too much! :)

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
