Cyberspace Nails

Hello beautiful! Here’s another simple nail art design you can do to update a plain manicure. I call it my cyberspace nails since my space world would of course have loads of colour and square shapes. All you would need for this is a Sally Hansen nail art pen, in a colour of your choice. For added drama make sure the choice of nail art pen is contrasting to your base coat polish.

It’s really simple; just add a bright yellow polish as your base. I used two coats of China Glaze’s Sunshine Pop which is from their Electropop collection. Apply your top coat; Seche Vite for me as usual. Then add random lines forming squares or rectangles to your design. Make sure you do different sizes. I added my design with the Sally Hansen nail art pen in blue. Seal off design with your top coat again. Tada!

Really simple right? Come on! Enter cyberspace with me.
Happy Cyberspace!
XOXO
Naomi

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
