Happy Friday Volume#11

Who doesn’t love a Friday? It’s the start to the weekend where we beauty lovers can get some more time to indulge in our stashes of beauty items. More so we get maybe some time for ourselves to just do nothing much or something extravagant! It’s also a time for me to share more about me to you that may or may not be beauty related. Feel free to share what you will be up to this weekend. Happy Friday!

Beauty Adventure? In my school days when I was stressed over assignments and projects I would take a break by indulging in chocolate and anything sweet to unwind. Now that I'm all grown up and the pressures of the working world and unbearable traffic are my new stress triggers, this girl does some shopping! Good for de-stressing, no so good on the wallet. So yes I indulged in the new Maybelline Tattoo and Loreal Infallible eyeshadows. But another part of my unwind session involves swatching colours just to see how pretty they are! Acquired from the beauty blogger in me. These gorgeous swatches were enough to calm me. Can you tell what they are?

If you want to do some unwinding for yourself and you just happen to be a little Blush Happy then head on down to your nearest MAC store for a blush fix with the recent Tres Cheek collection. Both don't get you heart set on Modern Mandarina like me if you want to go with the Tangerine tango trend this year. It was already sold out :(

So makeup is not your thing? Then you might be interested in a quick fix manicure with the imPress press on nails available now at Wonderful World.

Plans for the weekend? Duty calls but this time in the form of a family and fun day! Can you see me jumping into the bouncy castle with the kids? But before I head on down to enjoy that fun, I plan to indulge some more at the Trinidad & Tobago Hair and Beauty Trade-show down at the Crowne Plaza. Head on over here for more details.

Something about me? I love a good pair of heels, pumps in particular. Maybe it's part to being short but they just make the legs look long and lean for me. The only time I wear flats is for driving.
Happy Friday!
XOXO
Naomi

    1. Lol! Well west mall has all except the modern mandarina. And you're so right, I think I love the infallible eyeshadows more than the colour tattoos. I should be there in the morning time though. Too many things to do tomorrow. Hope you enjoy your mac techniques class. Maybe I will do one of those sometime.

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
