Happy Friday! Volume#10

Who doesn’t love a Friday? It’s the start to the weekend where we beauty lovers can get some more time to indulge in our stashes of beauty items. More so we get maybe some time for ourselves to just do nothing much or something extravagant! It’s also a time for me to share more about me to you that may or may not be beauty related. Feel free to share what you will be up to this weekend. Happy Friday!

Beauty Adventure? I'm still on vacation and no vacation for me would be complete without some shopping! Being a makeup hoarder means I neglected the other aspects of myself. My face and skin care was very minimal and since I am getting older I can see some fine lines appearing and huge pores staring at me. What's a girl to do but go to the nearest Estee Lauder store and find some things to help me out! I'll let you know how they work!

Next up my neglected hair! Steaming your hair helps with falling hair so I had a hair pampering session. Argan oil products were used that left my hair feeling like silk! It was a good thing my hairdresser was nice enough to let me know what she used and I was able to find the same products at Pennywise! 
Plans for the weekend?  I saw the Lorax this week and oh boy how that was a fun movie! I can't stop singing the words, "let it grow". I want to pop in a few more movies this weekend and of course hit the beach! Beach makeup anyone? 

Something about me? I was born in Guyana, which is in South America. Of course I have dual citizenship since I'm also a citizen of Trinidad & Tobago by decent. I've been to Tobago only twice! But it's so beautiful there, I have to try to visit more often!

      Hi Brandy! You know I normally do reviews on products before buying but i didnt this time since the sales rep had like perfect skin so i thought it must be working for her! Hope it works for me too!

      Chelsea that pic was taken in Tobago, the sister island to Trinidad, which is where i live. I was on vacation there and that sunset is always so beautiful! Enjoy your weekend too!

      Oh so far they are working pretty well! I'll make sure i do an initial review first and then one maybe in a next month or two so i can really see how it's working for my skin

    That sunset is gorgeous, I want to go on vaycay too! Lol I like to use all natural coconut oil for my skin and hair, about once a week or whenever it's dry. There is a lot of really great natural oils out there. Let us know how it works for you!

      Oh Tobago is a great tourist destination! Trinidad which is where I am is more of the industrialized place while Tobago is really great for vacations!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
