Warrior Woman

My two nieces and I have the most fun on weekends with no strict mommy rules on what time to sleep and all that nonsense! Haha, just kidding! But we do have loads of fun on the weekend, when it comes to dress up time. We saw a photo in a storybook about a warrior and it gave me some inspiration as to how we could do a warrior look. Well it didn’t come out the way I wanted it too and this is definitely not a look I would wear to go out but it was fun playing in my makeup with my two budding makeup artists. Hope you enjoy anyway!

I’m hoping to redo this look in the future so we will come back to this one to see how much I improved! In the meantime I will just show off my inner warrior spirit!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
