Spontaneous Audrey

I really have being branching out in colour from the usual pink nails I adore. But Audrey makes it so easy to do that. I’m in love with this shade. It was funny that when I was on a recent trip to the beloved MAC Store, one of the MUA’s actually asked me if I was wearing Salad Dressing, a recent polish from their MAC Shop, Cook collection. Ahmm…. No….. This is For Audrey from China Glaze! Slowly looking away from her now! 

For Audrey is a beautiful cream finish robin’s egg blue colour that took me two coats to look this good! It has the typical China Glaze formula that I love. This gorgeous blue was named after the brilliant Audrey Hepburn for her role in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Have you seen the movie?    

Later on in the week, well I got bored and after seeing Illamasqua’s recent Human Fundamentalism collection I decided to pair For Audrey with this midtone purple cream colour; China Glaze’s Spontaneous. They make a rather unconventional pair but that is what makes this one so fun! The half moons are all hand painted in, and yes I’m working on my painting skills.
